Deviants

Within the Ochae'nafod race there are numerous clans, each one bonded to a different animal. Clans live in the natural range of their bonded animal, hiding from humans and defending their habitat from incursion. Ochae'nafod are reclusive, and some people feel the shape-shifters are only a legend or superstition, but it is all due to the efforts of the Ochae'nafod to remain hidden by shifting into animals.

The exact selected clan is the Odoco clan, bonded to the deer of Northern Kalesten. These deer are similar to our white-tailed deer of North America. There are scattered communities across the forested regions of North Kalesten, the largest of which being in the Ardir, living alongside the Fayl'Idayn.

General Appearance
The Odoco clan is one of the more beautiful Ochae'nafod clans. The are tall, slim, and graceful with delicate faces and large "doe" eyes. Females stand an average of 5'6"-5'8" and males around 5'10"-6'. Females tend to be quite slim and lithe with small busts and narrow figures. Males are usually lean muscled, but with narrow frames as well.

Hair color is often a shade of brown, ranging from dark brown to nearly blonde. There are some strains of creamy colored white deer, which also appears in the Odoco clan; in their Nafod form, they are blonde haired, fair skinned, and sometimes blue-eyed, which can lead them to be confused with Idayn. Eye color is commonly brown, though with many tribes' proximity to Fayl'Idayn, there is a bit of variety due to interbreeding. Their skin is commonly fair to lightly tanned.

It is a tradition for certain social events for the male Ochae'nafod to shapeshift antlers onto their heads, but they do not bear them at all times due to the stress they place on their humanoid neck.

Women of the Odoco clan prefer to dress in loose, draping robes of cream and other muted colors, whereas men wear clothes of a similar clothing, but more fitted in the form of breeches and jackets, often mimicking the fashions of Fayl'Idayn. However, men living in more solitary clans away from the Fayl'Idayn are known to dress in robes as well.

Leather and other animal based materials are not in the Odoco clan's garb, as they are vegetarian. Their clothing is made of plant fibers; cotton and such.
